The Irenaeus Project helps people to move to a deeper awareness of God’s presence in their lives by providing opportunities for prayer and reflection.
The Irenaeus Project exists to help people to grow in their spiritual life and to come to see God at work in their lives. Our retreat centre is based in Crosby and is located in a Church which has recently closed, but has been redeveloped so that it will benefit everyone from the local community to people from across the UK.
Group retreats | Our retreat centre can accommodate up to 14 guests and is popular with parishes, chaplains, religious and groups across the country.
Days of prayer, renewal and reflection | Providing a chance for people to take some time out of their busy lives to reflect and pray.
Scripture retreats | Retreats for groups to reflect on scripture and grow in thier understanding the Word of God.
Spiritual direction | Conversations with an experienced director enable people to reflect on their spiritual life.
Dementia friendly activities | Activities include ‘Songs we remember’ is a sing-along with songs from our past and Dementia awareness sessions.
Drop in sessions | Opportunities for people to speak to trained counsellors and trained listeners.
