The Vicariate for Clergy exists to provide for the care of priests.
The Vicariate for Clergy offers an annual residential spiritual retreat as well as opportunities for on-going formation for priests serving in the Archdiocese of Liverpool.

The vicariate house is located at St Joseph’s Parish, Wrightington and priests can request to spend time there if they are looking for a quiet place to stay. This is provided for priests who need to spend time away from parish or other ministerial duties, for example, if they want a break or to make a spiritual retreat. There is also a self-contained cottage available on site.
