The Archdiocese of Liverpool School Awards 2017

On 3 March 2017 we held the first ever Liverpool Archdiocese School Awards.  The event, sponsored by New Directions Ltd, celebrated excellence shown by pupils, staff and governors that contribute so successfully to life in schools across the Archdiocese.  

The awards day was held in the Royal Liver Buildings on the Liverpool waterfront, which provided a spectacular venue for an exciting and inspirational day.  Headteachers, children, staff, governors and parents were represented at the event alongside Archbishop McMahon, Fr Michael O'Dowd and officers from the Schools and Christian Education departments of the Archdiocese.

A stunning musical performance was delivered by students from St Edmund Arrowsmith Catholic Centre for Learning in Knowsley before Radio City's Leanne Campbell hosted the awards ceremony.
