St Teresa’s benefits from a newly refurbished function room and lounge and has a games room and large car park. The parish centre would benefit from a manager with a desire and ability to market and attract new customers, particularly given the large residential area and lack of function rooms available for hire in Penwortham. We would also be looking for a new manager to engage with the local community to set up snooker, pool and darts teams to better use the games room facilities available and increase members visiting the parish centre to maximize the potential for generating increased functions.

The primary function of the role is to ensure the successful day-to-day operational management of the Parish Centre in line with Company policy and procedure.

Reporting to an Area Manager, the successful candidate would be responsible for leading a team of staff in the delivery of functions and celebrations, ensuring a positive customer experience is provided. This is a diverse and hands-on role with the Parish Centre Manager being active behind the bar during daytime and evening functions as well as developing the Parish Centre’s potential for function business.

Previous experience of working in the license trade for both of these roles is essential with proven experience of supervising staff, cash handling/managing budgets and stock management. Full training and support will be given to the successful candidate.
