Permanent, 35 hours per week
to include evenings, weekends and bank holidays
£15,113.00 pro rata (FTE £19,000 per annum)
APCMC Ltd is seeking to appoint a Parish Centre Managers/DPS in Liverpool. The primary function of the role is the day-to-day operation of the parish centre by successfully managing stock and cash and a team of staff members. Compliance with licensing, statutory regulations and company policy will also be a key responsibility.
Supported by an Area Manager and other operational team members and in liaison with the Parish Priest, the successful candidate would be responsible for promoting the parish centre, attracting new customers and providing a consistently good experience to all who visit or host family celebrations or church events.
All Saints Parish Centre is in the well known local area of Anfield, within walking distance of Liverpool Football Club. It is well supported by local residents and retains loyal members and customers seeking to host private functions. There is a members' lounge which incorporates a large screen TV showing live football on Sky and BT Sports channels and can be extremely busy on match days. There is a large function room that is used for a variety of charitable events, cabaret themed nights and private functions.
We are looking for applicants who are:
Able to attain a personal licence and DPS status
Committed to offering excellent customer service
Experienced in the handling of cash
Able to working in and contribute to a team
Flexible in their work hours to include day/evening and weekends
The following would be advantageous:
Experience of working in the Licensed Trade, catering, retail or leisure industry
Supervising and training staff members
Promoting a business and controlling costs
